NEF offers over 50,000 different fasteners and fastener-related tools, including both standard and non-standard custom-manufactured engineered items, from office and warehouse facilities in Breslau.

We are currently seeking to hire a Global Account Manager. We are looking for a dynamic and flexible candidate to join our Sales team who will have a variety of core responsibilities. The successful candidate will need a strong attention to detail to support our growing business needs.

Requirements of this position:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for marketing, promoting and profitably selling products and services to existing and potential customers
  • Seeks out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customerswithin a specified geographical territory
  • Establishes and maintains customer relationshipsin order to grow profitable sales. Learns and evaluates customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements and preferences.
  • Develop, co-ordinate and implement a sales plan and strategy in conjunction with the Business Development Manager to support sales and profitability goals throughout the network of clients.
  • Increasing business by generating sales to new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers
  • Makes personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis
  • Follows-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome through Insightly of the proposed solution
  • Generate profitable sales orders
  • Develop and maintain a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions and/or changes in assigned territory for maximum productivity and sales growth
  • Pursues product applications utilizing personal knowledge, internal specialists or other internal resources, vendor representatives and other available sources
  • Processes product quotations in conjunction with the Quoting Team and provides continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle
  • Gathers and reports to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products and current and future market trends as well as assists management and vendors in planning, tracking and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets
  • Achieves and maintains technical capabilities at required levels, attends customer seminars, schools and special promotions and participates in sales meetings, vendor seminars and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
  • Establish objectives for the company and assist in the development of policies and programs related to sales, service and warranty for our products.
  • Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in sales negotiations or other official functions including trade shows.
  • Relay field information and customer feedback to Employer’s engineering staff as part of continued product improvement or new product development.
  • Develop and grow the markets in both the existing as well as new geographical regions.
  • Performs other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete the job.

What will you need?

  • 3 - 5 years of work experience in Sales
  • Post-secondary degree an asset
  • Customer account management experience
  • Territory management
  • Automotive experience

Additional Skills:

  • Fluent in Spanish considered an asset
