Position Description:
The selected candidate will be part of the ENS Cloud Network Engineering team that will evaluate, design, and document networking solutions for public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructure for the firm. The candidate will collaborate with other infrastructure teams to implement the solution. The role resource will also provide all the technical guidance, design specifications, and solution-level support to the operation team for cloud connectivity, integration, and application migration.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a lead network engineer in the cloud application migration process and develop target state and transition state design for cloud adoption and migration. Ensure full network availability and security during and after migration is completed.
  2. Build CICD pipeline for Infrastructure as Code and Network as Code, based on Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager templates.
  3. Collaborate with other technical teams at the Company to deliver product and solution-level support.
  4. Deliver Network Design Document based on the requirements and best practices.
  5. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while working with diverse audiences including highly skilled IT professionals and senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Networking, DC design.
  2. 4+ years of experience with Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS (Google, Azure, AWS).
  3. Knowledge of IaC: Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure RM template.
  4. Solid understanding of client/server, networking, and Internet technologies.
  5. Knowledge of Networking technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPBGP, MPLS VPNs, VxLAN, Multicast.
  6. Knowledge of DMVPN, IPSEC, and Encryption Standards, Network Security.

Skills Required:

  1. Knowledge on Cloud Networking and Security best practices: Public (Google, AWS, Azure) and Private (Kubernetes) Cloud Technologies is desirable.
  2. Knowledge of AWS and Azure architectural principles and key networking services such as:
  3. Google Global VPC Design, Cloud Router, NCC, Interconnect.
  4. AWS Global infrastructure, VPC, S3, EC2, Route 53, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect.
  5. MS Azure VNet, VNet.
  6. Peering, Private Link, vWAN, Express Route, Firewall, Load Balancer.
  7. Experience with Kubernetes/Openshift; Knowledge of Calico CNI is a plus.
  8. Practitioner-level network automation skills using DevOps and CI/CD pipeline practices: Python or Shell Scripting, YAML, etc.
  9. IP Routing Platforms: ISRG2, ASR1K, CSR1k, ASR 9k.
  10. Switching Platforms: Arista 7K, Cisco Nexus 9000.
  11. CCNP / CCIE certification required.

  1. Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
  2. Google Professional Cloud Architect.
  3. AWS Solution Architect.
  4. Azure Solution Architect.
