Qualifications:
Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Nutrition or a related field relevant experience.
Course Information: An introduction to the profession of dietetics. Topics include a survey of dietetic practice areas, group processes, resources for dietitians, professionalism, communication, social determinants of health, Canadian healthcare system, and current issues in the dietetics profession. Students will conduct a research project as part of the University of Saskatchewan First Year Research Experience (FYRE) initiative and participate in an interprofessional Professionalism (Level 1) module available through IPECT.
