Our client is seeking a SR Solution/ Data architect with security clearance to join the Nuclear Development team
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Enterprise / Cloud Architect with a strong background in the Canadian nuclear industry to join our SMR/Nuclear Development team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting a new cloud IT environment with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
Must Haves:- 10+ years of solution and data architecture experience
- Canadian nuclear industry, IAEA - Nuclear Security (information and computer security)
- 5 years of work experience in cyber-security
- 5 years of work experience with Azure cloud platforms
- Expertise in Microsoft Technologies such as Azure tenant, Azure Entra, Sentinel (Playbooks, Runbooks, Connectors, Cybersecurity tools), Purview Applications Suite, Exchange, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, SQL Server, and secure configurations
- TOGAF 9 certification, CISSP certification, and SABSA Foundation Certificate (SCF)
- Experience with other technologies: SAP and Open Text
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification
- Proficient in data analytics such as Power BI, Synapse, and Tableau
- Certified in any of these areas: The Open Group Certified Architect, CCSP certification, SABSA Certified Practitioner (SCP), IAEA - Nuclear Security (other sections), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Zachman Certified, ITIL V3, SABSA Master Certificate (SCM), Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Design data integration solutions using a data-centric model, including SaaS solutions, conditional access policies, classification, and data labels
- Analyze, design, develop, and implement cloud architecture and support for the organization's nuclear information systems (IT)
- Ensure cloud architecture meets Canadian nuclear regulations while allowing for a right-sized/scalable approach
- Develop an IT architecture and supporting roadmap to plan technology projects required to implement the target architecture
- Assist in developing governance and operational supports to meet Canadian nuclear regulations (policies, standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures)
- Promote a data-centric environment
- Focus on cloud architecture
- Transition to a digital (not paper-based) system
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team
- Successful identity verification Needed
- Background check including electronic fingerprinting
