*Job description*

*Duties*
- Perform maintenance and repairs on various types of light equipment, including but not limited to truck, Kubota equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repair
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment components as needed
- Operate equipment for testing and diagnostic purposes
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs

- Assists in repairs in heavy duty equipment as needed, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

*Qualifications*

- Red Seal certification in Automotive Service Technician
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician with light equipment repair
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with heavy equipment and familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
