Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Technician with a Red Seal certification to join our team at Gold Bond Canada, Ltd.. This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of light equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and repair tasks on light equipment, including trucks and Kubota machinery.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems, selecting the most effective repair methods.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment components as necessary to facilitate repairs.
• Operate machinery for testing and diagnostic evaluations.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to carry out repairs efficiently.
• Assist with the repair of heavy-duty machinery when required, such as excavators and loaders.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Red Seal certification in Automotive Service Technology.
• Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Service Technician with a focus on light equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and their components.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Type

Full-time position with a commitment of no less than 40 hours per week.

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shifts.
• Day, evening, and night shifts available.

Experience Requirements

Licenses and Certifications

• Class 5 License preferred.
• Journeyman - Red Seal certification is mandatory.
