What you will be doing
  1. Soutenir l’exécution et la planification des solutions logistiques.
  2. Collaborer avec les intervenants internes.
  3. Assurer le suivi des commandes et travailler avec des collègues pour accélérer et résoudre les problèmes.
Profil d’un spécialiste en logistique

Les spécialistes en logistique de niveau I doivent être en mesure de s’acquitter des tâches de base liées à l’offre de services de messagerie haut de gamme et avoir la capacité de travailler dans un environnement caractérisé par une forte pression. Le spécialiste en logistique doit faire preuve d’un sens de l’urgence et de détermination pour aider dans des situations critiques. Il/elle doit être à l’aise avec les détails de la logistique et doit être flexible pour travailler en différents quarts de travail, notamment le jour, le soir, la nuit et les fins de semaine. Les spécialistes en logistique doivent être axés sur le client, avoir un esprit de service, résoudre les problèmes et avoir un bon esprit d’équipe. Ils se concentrent sur la maîtrise de leurs tâches et l’apprentissage de tous les éléments de base de notre service et de nos affaires avec l’objectif d’assumer des responsabilités supplémentaires vers un poste de spécialiste en logistique de niveau II ou d’autres postes.

Conditions de travail

Environnement de bureau standard avec soulèvement occasionnel de charges lourdes.

Connaissances générales et compétences requises
  1. Forte connaissance de la géographie.
  2. Capacité de faire plusieurs tâches à la fois.
  3. Avoir l’esprit d’équipe.
Principaux devoirs et responsabilités
  1. Tâches de triage avec le spécialiste en logistique II et le spécialiste en logistique III.
  2. Assurer la liaison avec les compagnies aériennes, les agents et, à l’occasion, les autres parties concernées.
  3. Fournir un soutien aux collègues et aux clients internes.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop creative solutions which are in line with the best interest of the client.
  2. Deal directly with everyone at all levels of the logistics chain: clients, drivers, customs, etc.
  3. Work with other logistics specialists in World Courier’s vast network of offices.
What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer care coupled with a High School diploma.
  2. Potential for travel to a multitude of destinations worldwide.
  3. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French.
