Description du poste:

Department Overview

The Finance Operations (FinOps) Center, located in Greater Moncton, New Brunswick, is an integral part of TD Finance, delivering finance services with a commitment to operational excellence.

The FinOps - Accounting Operations team is responsible for settling wire payments owed to Associations (Mastercard and VISA) from TD Credit Card (TDCT and MBNA) customer transactions. The team is responsible for balancing and booking customer credit card transactions as well as all other transactions put through merchant point of sale machines.

Job Requirements

Colleagues in this entry level position typically require knowledge of or experience with:

  1. Processing and Recording Financial Transactions (JE entry and wire submissions)
  2. Account reconciliation, Data Analysis (Excel)
  3. Continuous Process Improvement
  4. Communication and partnering skills
  5. Time management
  6. Decision making

Beneficial, but not required experiences and skills include:

  1. MS Access, Excel (Macros)
  2. Alteryx
  3. Accounting and Reporting
  4. Interpersonal
  5. Problem solving

While experience and ability are often prioritized, colleagues in these roles often have the following education or accreditation:

• Undergraduate degree such as finance, accounting, economics, statistics, business administration or commerce

Additional Information

As with any role in the accounting industry, heavy scheduling periods are expected during the busy times of month end, quarter end and year end. During these periods, additional hours are expected of some roles across our teams. Successful candidates have the opportunity to participate in a voluntary modified scheduling arrangement where they may elect to work up to 12 scheduled hours per day during these peak periods, with specific consecutive days off scheduled over a less busy period of the month.
