Responsibilities
- Perform annual reserve analyses
- Perform quarterly performance monitoring
- Assist with planning and financial reporting
- Collaborate with Pricing, Underwriting, Claims and Financial Services
- Take on ad hoc requests within the department
- Participate in data and automation initiatives
- Managing and mentoring a junior actuary
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society
- Minimum 10 years of P&C actuarial experience.
- Reserving experience at reins/ins company preferred.
- Strong Excel skills are mandatory. Excel VBA experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with ResQ and/or SQL a plus.
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Experience managing/mentoring junior actuaries.
