Le conseil d’administration de Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) est à la recherche d’un(e) directeur(trice) exécutif(ve) chevronné(e), progressiste et dynamique pour diriger notre association professionnelle. Relevant du président et du conseil d’administration, le directeur général est responsable de la performance globale de l’Association par la mise en œuvre du plan stratégique, l’atteinte des objectifs ainsi que du développement et de la gestion efficace de ses ressources.

MTANS est une association à but non lucratif dirigée exclusivement par des massothérapeutes agréés (RMT). Notre mission est de promouvoir et de soutenir l’excellence pour les massothérapeutes en Nouvelle-Écosse. Nous sommes fiers d’être la plus grande des quatre organisations représentant les massothérapeutes dans la province avec plus de 1 350 membres. Créé en 1990, nous travaillons continuellement à défendre les intérêts de nos membres et à assurer la sécurité et l’intégrité de la pratique de la massothérapie.

Résumé du poste
Le directeur éxécutif joue un rôle essentiel dans l’avancement de la mission de MTANS, en assurant sa durabilité et en ayant un impact positif sur les membres de l’association. Le directeur éxécutif supervise les opérations quotidiennes et fournit un soutien au conseil d’administration et aux membres de MTANS.

  • Leader du secteur à but non lucratif (CAE ou titre équivalent est un atout certain)
  • Diplôme en soins de santé, en affaires, en administration de la santé ou en promotion de la santé (diplôme d’études supérieures est un atout certain)
  • Expérience de travail dans une organisation axée sur la communauté (l’industrie de la santé ou une association professionnelle serait idéale)
  • Expérience de la gouvernance du conseil d’administration, de la responsabilité financière, et des ressources humaines
  • Compréhension de la gouvernance et de la conformité des organisations à but non lucratif
  • Compétences solides en matière de réflexion stratégique et de prise de décision
  • Compétences supérieures en communication et conscience politique
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft 365, des CRM, des logiciels de comptabilité et des médias sociaux
  • L’anglais est essentiel ; la maîtrise du français serait un atout certain
  • Engagement envers l’équité, la diversité, l’inclusion et l’accessibilité
