On behalf of our Public Sector Healthcare Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis, working remotely within Canada in the PST time zone.
Summary of the Role:The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating multiple projects within a large healthcare environment. This role involves managing stakeholder engagement, overseeing multiple Agile projects, and ensuring the integration of various technologies across a provincial health ecosystem. Strong project management skills and experience working in complex healthcare settings are crucial.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Lead the integration of multiple technologies across the healthcare system.
- Manage consultation processes with diverse stakeholders, including vendors.
- Oversee Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies to deliver project milestones.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and consensus building.
- Ensure successful project delivery within a large and complex healthcare environment.
- A master’s degree in Health Informatics, IT, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5 years of recent experience in project management, including stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Solid understanding of technology integration in provincial healthcare ecosystems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in layman's terms.
- Experience working within the BC Health Sector on digital enablement projects.
- Experience working with, or for, an EMR vendor based in BC.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
This is a remote contract position, open to candidates residing in Canada and working in the PST time zone. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
