About the team:

You will join the hardware IT division of Euroclear (Group Technology Services). Euroclear is the hub of the financial system, and we are the IT core of this hub. We plan, build and run the global IT infrastructure of Euroclear. Our systems keep the financial world running. The demand for high-quality financial services keeps growing. And Euroclear is growing. Role & Responsibilities:

We have several opportunities open for Database Administrators in the Open Systems Tribe. Tell us about your unique skillset, and we will match you with an opportunity that fits you In this role you will progressively:

  1. Design, install, upgrade, and secure our database infrastructure.
  2. Work with database technologies like SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB or PostGre SQL - and that across multiple datacentres.
  3. Learn how to create databases and spin them off automatically.
  4. Talk to customers and build infrastructure according to their needs.
  5. Resolve issues and constantly look for opportunities to automate work through code and scripts.
  6. Work occasional outside of business hours as launches in production are generally carried out after 17:00 or on Saturday as well as watch duty at nights and weekends.
Requirements:

A degree or equivalent experience in Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar

A first job/traineeship experience in IT

Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)

Curious to learn IT technologies

Open to adapt to new circumstances, technologies, processes

Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context

Able to follow existing standards and acting with attention to detail

A great teammate who demonstrates good interpersonal skills
