ZML Holdings Group Corporation is a real estate investment and management company located in downtown Vancouver.

We are currently recruiting a senior commercial property accountant. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a candidate with commercial property accounting expertise. This position reports to the Controller.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

· Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, maintain up-to-date tenant information in Yardi.

· Process tenant Move In/Move Out and apply security deposits accordingly per lease agreements.

. Review and post receivables, payables and journal entries prepared by property accountant.

· Set up new leases and amendments, manage tenant ledgers.

· Perform monthly closing process, review and post rent rolls.

· Monitor cash balance and perform monthly owner distributions.

· Prepare monthly financial reports including Executive Summary, Bank Reconciliations, Amortization Schedules, Revenue and Expense Accruals, Cash Flow Analysis, GST Reconciliation, Balance Sheet and Income Statement Variance Analysis.

· Set up new properties and carried forward financial balance if any.

· Prepare annual CAM/property tax reconciliations and reply to tenant inquires.

· Prepare annual budgets and tenant pre-billing schedules.

· Review financial reports/budgets for other company owned properties managed by third parties.

· Liaise with property managers and tenants in a timely and professional manners.

. Train new staff and provide support to the accounting group.

· Handle ad hoc projects assigned by management.

Qualifications:

· 3+ years’ commercial property management accounting experience.

. Completion of an accounting degree and/or designation.

. Yardi related experience is required.

· Detail oriented with sound analytical skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment, strong commitment to meet deadlines.

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.

Salary depends on experience
