About The Role

Based at our CNRL Albian Sands project site on a 6 days on, 1 day off schedule, reporting to the HSE Supervisor, the Senior HSE Coordinator is responsible for leadership on the project site, and is the go-to safety expert on site. The Senior HSE Coordinator is also responsible for client management, direct interaction with the client, providing safety status updates and statistical data, site reports for Graham and the client, mentorship of coordinators, and monitoring the HSE Administrator workload. This is a temporary fly in, fly out position supporting our CNRL Albian Sands project site.

As a Senior HSE Coordinator at Graham, you will:
  1. Take responsibility for own health, safety, and environmental protection, as well as that of direct reports, the general public, and visitors to the site(s).
  2. Conduct project-specific safety orientation with all workers and visitors new to the worksite prior to commencement of work on the project.
  3. Arrange or conduct HSE training for workers and Supervisors.
  4. Assist in equipment inspections and preparation of reports, and follow-up on all noted deficiencies.
  5. Ensure compliance of the maintenance program for tools and equipment on the project.
  6. Correct any unsafe conditions, when possible, and report any uncorrected conditions to the responsible project Superintendent or Supervisor.
  7. Ensure all controlled products supplied to projects are accompanied by a corresponding current safety data sheet (SDS / MSDS), and other documentation as required by local government regulations.
  8. Ensure ERP and other related emergency documents, bulletins, and notices are posted and communicated to workers.
  9. Ensure all required HSE reports and meeting minutes are filed, with copies sent to the appropriate personnel for review and corrective action.
  10. Assist project Supervisors and / or Foremen with conducting incident investigations, analysis, and completion of incident reports and summaries.
