Electronics Service Technician

Compensation: $33.00/hour; $49.50/hour overtime
Schedule: Mon-Fri; 30 hours/week
Working Address: 4-3571 Viking Way; various worksites
Vacation: 4% or two weeks
Job Opening: 1
Employment Requirements:
- 2 years or more of experience
- College Certificate or higher in electronics, technician, or related field
- Able to:
- Work with power tools
- Solder and crimp connectors
- Valid driver’s license
- Additional certification and/or experience is an asset
Employment Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair household electronic equipment including security cameras, A/V equipment, network devices, smarthome equipment, motion sensors, enterphones, entertainment as well asspeakersand various other electronics.
- Follow equipment manuals and/or blueprints and adjust accordingly
- Complete system configuration and adjust to client needs
- LAN system configuration and installation
- Inspect and test devices
- Pulling cables, mount and hardware installation
- Cable and wire organization
- Teach client how to operate various electronics, devices, and OS
- Troubleshoot various electronics and devices
- Travel to various sites in Greater Vancouver Area
