Job Description

Product Specialist are responsible, in conjunction with Product Manager(s) and the Portfolio Director, for delivering financial growth & returns with industry-leading products & services. Tasks include analysis of market studies and data, SME advising on NPD projects, marketing and commercialization plans, financial business plans, and other similar tasks.

• In conjunction with business leaders and other Product Managers develop and define Sensia’s Artifical Lift Systems and Production Optimization roadmap and strategies to maximize growth, returns and market share in its target markets. In addition to areas identified as part of the role FY 24 and 25 focus areas are:-
  • ESP profit optimisation & growth Productization of ESP
  • Margin improvement of ESP
  • SLB alignment & OEM growth
  • Unify control across portfolio
  • ESP control & surveillance functionality

• Execute the strategy for the product in their Portfolio to deliver growth, returns and optimized market position for Sensia in their segment.
• Expand and optimize the ESP VSD portfolio to ensure Sensia is able to compete in the cost driven markets in each region globally.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to optimise GTM strategy for their segment/regions.
• In conjunction with Engineering and the Training team provides technical pre-sales support and training for Sales team for new technology and existing portfolio
• Identify and prioritise, in conjunction with sales, engineering, projects and customer support any certification required to maintain revenue/margin or deliver growth.
• Develop, own and manage segment roadmap/growth plan from creation through to successful product release.
• Proactive lifecycle management of portfolio and the decision maker in reactive lifecycle decisions (i.e., driven by component obsolescence)
• Development of technical/application and market/competitive positioning material to support marketing communications.
• Collaborate with pricing function on segment pricing strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent qualification and experience)
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience with
• ESP power, control, and automation systems
• Sales, Service, or other relevant customer-facing roles

• Occasional international travel will be part of this role. It is not expected to be more than 15-30% of the time.
