Our clients will be able to drive efficiency and gather new insights with their ability to confidently make data driven decisions.The Advanced Solutions team will be at the forefront of ushering in the new digital services strategy to the world of renewable energy. This team is a first for RES: offering digital consulting services that span across people, process and technology with an expertise in renewables.The Business Analyst is a key team member. They will support our projects by engaging with customers to understand how the solutions will be the most effective. They will understand the user stories, gather requirements and weigh the pros and cons to various pathways the project can take.Key AccountabilitiesLeadership and Strategy:
  • Be part of a multi-disciplinary and diverse product orientated team focused on delivering industry leading products.
  • Collaborate in a team of a diverse set of technical experts, engineers, and PMs fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation and constant improvement.
  • Lead in place: Share guidance, learning, and professional growth opportunities for team members.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Technology/Engineering, Services, Product, Security, Innovation, Quality, Growth and Program Management teams to grow the product portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of customer needs, market dynamics and competitor products.
Day-to-Day:
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders (internal / external).
  • Understand the customers' business and strategy and help define the solutions by asking provocative questions.
  • Scope & charter projects to deliver to customers.
  • User requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Conduct gap analysis to understand technical configuration requirements.
  • Consolidate technical requirements for the solution to be implemented.
  • Connect technical requirements of the customer with the project & solutions team.
  • Act as “super user” of solution to coach on-site role holders.
  • Upkeep of requirements documentation and facilitation of other processes.
  • Partner with the data and architecture teams to ensure quality and standards are met.
Knowledge
  • Understanding of commercial / business drivers across the renewable energy value chain.
  • Knowledge of renewable technologies, a plus.
  • Project management fundamentals (i.e., PRINCE2, ITIL, etc.).
Skills
  • Experience speaking and presenting ideas in front of customer groups of various sizes.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to execute.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to visually represent thoughts and information (presentation, Visio, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Intellectual curiosity paired with a high growth-mindset.
  • Strong influencing skills, with a reputation for getting things done effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and effectively influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Multilingual is a plus.
Experience
  • Solid relevant experience as business analyst or in business intelligence.
  • Solid experience understanding customer experience, user stories, and requirements.
  • Track record of delivering project results to external customers.
  • Demonstrated track record of stakeholder engagement to enable aligned goals.
  • Experience leading customer workshops in-person or virtually.
  • Has demonstrated success in working with digital projects in renewable energy.
  • Experience working in global companies and in culturally ambiguous situations.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with a willingness to stretch yourself outside typical role boundaries.

Qualifications
  • Degree in relevant discipline or certifications pertaining to role (computer science, information technology, mathematics, physics, renewable energy).
