Our fantastic industry leading client is seeking a skilled Assembly/Manufacturing Technician. This opportunity is starting out as a temporary assignment of 4-8 weeks with the enticing prospect of transitioning into a permanent position for the right candidate.
If you are adept at micro-assembly of small parts, have a keen eye for detail and have experience in soldering, then apply today
Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Assembling a variety of parts (mostly micro-assembly)
- Soldering as required
- Carefully measuring materials
- Curing of adhesives
- Troubleshooting where needed
- Keeping track of inventory
- Ensuring all projects are carried through safely and accurately
Qualifications:
- Able to pass a RCMP criminal record check
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Experience:
- A minimum of 2+ years’ of micro-assembly/manufacturing experience is required
- Previous soldering experience required
Skills:
- Patient and meticulous
- Strong attention to detail
- Troubleshooting
- Strong desire to learn
- Enthusiastic
- Work well as part of a team
Base Salary:$18 – $19 per hour
- Based on experience
Work Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 8AM – 5PM
Additional Notes:
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
