  • Performing timber reconnaissance
  • Designing roads and cut blocks
  • Administrating and supervising contracts (layout, cruising, and site assessments)
  • Liaising with the Government and Indigenous Peoples
  • Consulting stakeholders
  • Incorporating social and cultural values into harvest area designs
  • Preparing and submitting appraisals and cutting/road permit applications
  • Developing Site Plans
You have:
  • A forestry degree or diploma
  • A Registered Professional Forester or Technologist Designation (RPF or RFT), with Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC) or the College of Alberta Professional Foresters
  • Relevant field experience in planning (cruising, layout, and site plans)
  • Experience with Arc map and information management systems
  • A working knowledge of the appraisal system and timber cruising
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Compensation Package:
  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $68,000 and $90,000.
  • Annual bonus opportunity
