To achieve these results, iGaming Ontario is guided by its vision to lead the world’s best gaming market.

Help us to Lead the World’s Best Gaming Market.

We’re looking for a strategic leader who is excited by the opportunity and challenge of creating new, value-driven functions. The Chief Finance and Administration Officer will provide vision and strategic leadership to iGaming Ontario’s finance, enterprise risk, internal audit, facilities, and procurement functions.

The Chief Finance and Administration Officer is a member of the senior leadership team and reports to iGaming Ontario’s Executive Director, who is its Chief Executive Officer. The incumbent will champion iGaming Ontario’s strategic plan, driving results, optimizing revenue and resources, and ensuring programs and services continue to meet business needs. As a dynamic, innovative, and inspiring leader, you will build a divisional management team and collaborate with your senior leadership team colleagues to provide exceptional client services.

The Chief Finance and Administration Officer acts as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including the Ministry of the Attorney General, which represents our shareholder, the Government of Ontario, gaming operators, and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, which is our parent agency and regulator.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Knowledge of the lottery and gaming industry is highly preferred.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Experience with regulatory and compliance issues specific to the gaming industry.
  • Education: Degree in business administration or a related field; Certified Professional Accountant designation desired.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.

This position currently offers a hybrid work location. iGaming Ontario has implemented a minimum three-day per week in-office schedule. iGaming Ontario reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.

  • Wellbeing account to support your mental, physical, and social wellbeing.
  • Access to mental health benefits, free counselling, and support services.
  • Paid parental leave top-up.

iGaming Ontario is an inclusive and equal opportunity employer.

iGaming Ontario has the responsibility to lead by example in advancing racial equity and to build a diverse, inclusive, accessible, and respectful workplace where every employee has a voice and the opportunity to fully contribute. To this effect, you are encouraged to reflect upon the diversity you would bring to the role within your application, including, but not limited to, individuals identifying with one or more of the under-represented groups identified within Ontario’s Human Rights Code.
