Insight Global is looking for an SDET to join one of North America’s largest retail/wellness companies. The team is responsible for application architecture, development, and innovation of new feature development to support consumer solutions. In this role, you will ensure to provide the highest quality deliverables for each release. Support high-quality automation test engineering, test plan, and principles, and adhere to QA best practices. Perform other duties as assigned.• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test solutions.• Develop high-quality test engineering best practices for the team.• Partner with software engineers, UX/UI, quality engineers, and product managers to deliver high-performing customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful, and powerful in their simplicity.• Participate in automation script code reviews and guide automation best practices.• Help identify gaps and needs of the agile team.• Coordinate various test-related activities for project delivery; identifying task dependencies, test schedules, test data creation and utilization of test environments.• Develop and monitor test metrics and provide timely communication to key stakeholders regularly.• Consistently demonstrates regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.• Has 3-5 years of experience as an SDET or QA• Has previous development experience using Swift UI and Objective C as well as unit testing with Xcode• Has experience with automation testing using Appium written in Python and writing the frameworks from scratch• Has experience with messaging queues such as Kafka• Has an understanding of AWS, EC2 instances, and RDS/Dynamo databases• Experience working within iOS mobile devices in a retail or eComm environment
