Take P&L leadership for a Global Mining OEM, seeking an ambitious leader for their North American operations.

A renowned leader in the mining machinery sector, known for its innovation, sustainability, and commitment to excellence, is on the lookout for a Vice President for its North American region.

This role presents a rare opportunity for a dynamic and visionary leader to take full P&L leadership of the region, drive strategic growth and attain a market leadership position.

The Company :

Operating on a global scale, and well established across Canada and the US, this mining OEM is recognized for setting benchmarks in underground mining machinery innovation.

With a strong foundations in place, the company seeks a high-energy leader to continue its journey of transformation and growth, aiming to achieve market leadership in the North American region.

Strategic Objectives:

Sales Territory Growth : Spearhead efforts to elevate North American sales, expanding the team and market reach through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Transformation and Development : Lead the charge in enhancing skills, fostering collaboration, and strengthening customer relationships to secure and grow the business. Leadership and Strategy : Bolster the leadership team, ensuring effective succession planning and enhanced collaboration across regional and global teams. Revenue, Profitability, and Market Expansion : Focus on surpassing revenue and profitability targets while expanding the market share to align with global achievements. Operational Excellence : Drive operational enhancements to elevate customer engagement and service, addressing key challenges to improve overall efficiency. Innovation and Geographic Expansion : Evaluate and execute expansion plans, including the exploration of new operational sites and the introduction of innovative technologies and markets.

The Ideal Candidate:

Demonstrates a high-energy, ambitious leadership style Proven track record of fostering a positive and collaborative working environment, across a multi-site operation. Brings significant experience in the mining industry within an OEM environment. Expertise in strategic planning, team development, and achieving growth objectives. Customer focused, with a track record of developing high level relationships with global mining operators and contractors, ideally in underground mining. Aligns with the company's culture of authenticity, teamwork and collaboration - ready to lead the North American team to success.
