Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the food and beverage division by implementing procedures and processes that ensure success for the operations in Banquets & Outlets.
- Focus on guest experience and growing team members into well-rounded hospitality professionals.
- Responsible for ensuring the Hotel Restaurant and Bar provide service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Ensure all hotel Banquet events are executed as per the Banquet Event Order and meet the guests' needs.
- Develop, train, communicate and reinforce the service vision and standards to team members.
- Partner with the Executive Chef, General Manager and Corporate Director of Food and Beverage to plan, create and execute an innovative culinary vision for the hotel.
- Develop an annual strategic plan that will drive guest satisfaction, team member engagement and food and beverage revenue.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership through a hands-on approach working alongside team members.
- Ensure food and beverage budgets and targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Deliver service that is aligned with our vision to create exceptional experiences.
- Communicate through team meetings to discuss goals and share information.
- Be an engaging leader who is highly inclusive and inspiring.
- Create a fun and supportive working environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day leadership of the front of house Food & Beverage operation.
- Identify and resolve all guest concerns/complaints.
- Liaise with all supporting departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

- Passionate about food and beverage, guest service and hospitality.
- Experience working as a Food & Beverage leader, preferably within a full-service hotel environment.
- Energetic personality with a collaborative and team-focused attitude.
- Strong desire to create and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Hands-on approach to training and leadership.
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Property management and Point of Sale systems.
- Organized, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- A diploma or completion of post-secondary education in hospitality is an asset.
- Current Food Safe and Smart Serve certification.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
