Working Hours:
 Camp Training and Prep: June (Dates TBD)
Camp dates: July 1 – August 23 (8:45pm – 4:15pm)
*Camp will operate on Canada Day (July 1st), but not on Civic Holiday (August 5th)*

Contract Salary Range: $625 – $700/week

We are looking for an organized and highly motivated resource manager to join our Summer 2024 camp team. The resource manager is integral to an amazing summer camp experience. They facilitate the production, inventory, ordering and distribution of supplies for hands-on projects and activities for the summer. The resource manager will also have the opportunity to learn how to use digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Post-secondary graduate or nearing the end of their degree/diploma
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Significant experience using spreadsheet software
Role & Responsibilities
  • Purchasing supplies for camp programs
  • Maintaining inventory of camp supplies, tools and equipment
  • Organizing the distribution of materials, equipment and tools to all camp sites
  • Communicating with Program Managers and Directors across all our camp sites to support the material purchasing and distribution needed for camp programming
Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Full weekday availability from May to August and select training days in June
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
  • High level of proficiency using spreadsheet software (e.g. Google Sheets)

Considered an Asset:

  • Prior experience with managing a budget and making orders
  • Experience in summer camp(s)

Additional Requirements:

  • Access to a personal device (i.e. laptop) to complete job responsibilities
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C (or willingness to obtain)

This job may be funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). The SWPP program requires that candidates be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or a protected person defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
