We're looking for a seasoned Senior Advisor, Marketing & Communications, with a strong background and passion in driving marketing and communications strategies, tactics, and managing campaigns. In this role, you will have an opportunity to showcase your unique flair for creative writing, building marketing and communication plans, and executing them.


Reporting to the Senior Director - Marketing, IT, and Digital, this role also focuses on managing complex marketing communications projects while liaising regularly with ATCO Corporate Marketing & Communications.


What You Get to Do
  1. Act as marketing & communications subject matter expert for the business unit, assist in executing our internal and external communications plan, and build marketing and communications strategy.
  2. Play a major support role in drafting and creating communication material geared towards ATCO Executive (e.g. Business Plan and Strategy) and Board of Directors presentations.
  3. Build creative designs, administer, and update internal communications on all internal channels.
  4. Significantly contribute to the development of the marketing strategy, plan, budget, and timelines for our lines of business.
  5. Set up marketing campaigns, track value creations, and execute the marketing & communications plans for Structures Canada.
  6. Assist on the commercial side with sales bid support and presentation materials and initiatives.
  7. Create content and administer our social media platform inclusive of monitoring channels for engagement and responding.
  8. Develop content, update, and maintain the company website for Structures Canada.
  9. Administer, monitor, and adjust Google Business pages and Google Ads campaigns.
  10. Work with ATCO's Digital experts to monitor and analyze SEO rankings, identifying and acting on opportunities to improve on key terms.
  11. Develop reports, analytics, track progress and trends, and provide recommendations to the business.
  12. Participate and support in planning internal events.
  13. Liaise with our ATCO Corporate Marketing and Communications team on campaigns, social media, and events.
  14. All other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
  1. 5+ years of experience in creating marketing campaigns, building marketing and communications plans and strategies with a strong background in professional content writing.
  2. Educational background in English, Communications, Public relations, Business marketing, or an associate field preferred.
  3. A consistent track record as a marketing and communication strategist and accomplished implementer of communication plans.
  4. Excellent creative writing skills with the ability to bring concepts to life.
  5. Experience with social media platforms, social planning platforms, and creative building via Adobe Creative Cloud tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  6. Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Stream, etc.).
  7. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite of Applications (including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro) required.
  8. Experience with SalesForce and Constant Contact preferred.
