Resident Engineer

As a Resident Engineer, you will supervise the construction of a new and upgraded Urban Link Road and a section of the Cycle Network in the Mulhuddart area, including the administration of the contract in accordance with the Public Works Contract for Civil Engineering Works Designed by the Employer.

Our Client is one of the leading global Civil Engineering Consultants. They have been awarded a contract on a road construction project in Mulhuddart to run for approximately 12-15 months. As a Resident Engineer, you will play a vital role in the Site Supervision and Coordination liaison. Role Requirements:
  1. Previous experience on roads/highway projects, with at least 7 years’ industry experience in a similar supervision/inspection capacity.
  2. Degree in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering.
  3. Chartered Engineer or approaching Chartered Engineer status.
  4. Previous experience in the administration of construction contracts.
  5. Strong health and safety awareness related to road/highway projects.
  6. Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand design and any necessary changes.
  7. Urban Road & Cycle Network schemes experience would be desirable, but not essential.

You will also have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work within a team at all times.
