We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable general labor candidates to assist in the setup and takedown of a concert stage for our client. This event will be taking place from Friday, June 28th to Saturday, June 29th.

The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, and will be eager team players, ready to contribute wherever needed to ensure the event runs smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unloading and loading of materials
  • Moving materials around site as needed
  • Setting up and taking down equipment as required
  • Building stages and assembling truss
  • Tidying and cleaning up site
  • Working as part of a team
  • Other tasks and support as required

Qualifications:

  • Steel toed boots, safety gloves, and vest are required
  • Driver’s license and reliable vehicle are a huge asset

Experience:

  • Previous general labour experience is required
  • Previous experience in event/concert set-up or take-down is considered a strong asset

Skills:

  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to listen and take direction
  • Enthusiastic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and accountable

Base Salary:$18-22 per hour

  • Salary varies depending on shift and experience

Work Hours:

  • Friday, June 28th:2:00pm – 8:30pm
  • Saturday June 29th: 10:30pm – 2:30am

Additional Notes:

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
