Job Summary:
We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our company. You will collaborate with other accountants to provide cross-functional support to various departments in the organization. This role will be reporting to the Plant Controller.

Work schedule:
Onsite - 40 hours/week from Monday to Friday.

Essential Functions:

• Manage accounting transactions.
• Work in partnership with AP/AR teams to resolve issues.
• Month-end closing: preparation of journal entries and adjustments, inventory reports, margin reconciliation, etc.
• Reconciliations of BS accounts.
• Inventory control: reporting, cycle count validation.
• Participation in the preparation of budget and forecasts.
• Participation in the preparation of information for internal and external audit.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations – internal control, SOX.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as required.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of work experience as an Accountant.
• Work experience in a manufacturing industry (asset).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Oracle R12 ERP (strong asset).
• Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
• Proficient in both French and English.
