What will you work on?

Reporting to the Learning & Enablement Manager, the Instructional Designer will play a crucial role in developing engaging and effective learning materials to support the highly technical training needs of our employees and partners. The Instructional Designer will be part of our growing Learning and Enablement team and will participate in building the function from the early stages. Please note that this role is highly technical and is focused on creating learning material for a technical audience.

As an Instructional Designerat Clariti, you’ll get to :

  • Design and develop high-quality instructional materials, including e-learning courses, videos, instructor-led courses, and other training resources.
  • Build knowledge and expertise in the Permitting & Licensing industry and our product offerings to effectively translate complex concepts into clear and learner-friendly content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content requirements.
  • Utilize multimedia elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance the effectiveness of learning materials.
  • Maintain the library of e-learning courses to keep lesson content accurate, up-to-date, and relevant with product launches.
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in instructional design and e-learning.
What you bring to the team?
  • Either a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field or the equivalent professional experience and knowledge.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer, creating impactful training materials.
  • Proven experience in creating technical learning and enablement materials for technically oriented audiences.
  • Proficiency in developing foundational building blocks for training materials from inception to completion.
  • Proficient in e-learning authoring tools, multimedia editing software, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

The initial base salary range for this role is expected to be between $65 - $80 annually. Our compensation bands are based on various factors, including the labour market (as informed by our business stage and industry), job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
