Our ideal candidate will assist in the development of client and company-facing marketing materials. The individual will be involved with our subject matter experts and will be responsible for converting technical and business content into client literature, press releases, award submissions and other advertising materials. The individual will work within a collaborative team environment, and will provide direction into the content and pictorial information to create and compliment marketing campaigns and business objectives. The resulting materials will be used globally for both print and web-based campaigns.

The role is an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of Hatch's marketing services. And so, we're looking for a candidate who can combine technical excellence, strong communication skills and project management capabilities with an ability to challenge our thinking and make a difference.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to meet business needs.
• Develop both professional services and product marketing literature (e.g. annual reviews, brochures, sell sheets, case studies, presentations, etc.)

• Develop press releases identifying Hatch's unique capabilities and services
• Develop awards submissions and supporting materials for industry and professional recognition.
• Support industry events, conferences and tradeshows.
• Convert technical and engineering content into client-facing materials that may be consumed by a non-technical audience.
• Conduct market research in support of new service and product development, and client and competitor intelligence.
• Liaise directly with leadership outside of the marketing department and across various disciplines, practices, and geographies
• Exercise excellent listening and comprehension abilities
• Work as part of the overall corporate marketing team to continually refresh, update and fulfil Hatch's marketing objectives.
 
What you bring:
• A College Diploma or University Degree in the field of Marketing, Technical Writing or Journalism and 3-5 years of work experience. 
• Strong written communication, organizational and time management skills
• Technical and creative writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet all deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Strong understanding of client relationship management and/or industry best practices
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Adaptability in a dynamic, complex and fast past delivery environment
• Creativity and experience with a wide range of innovative marketing approaches
• Professional and friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and highly technical information
• Experience working in the construction, engineering or technology industries would be an asset
• Strong computer skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite would be an asset
• Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving and project management abilities. The successful candidate can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and attend
