  • Work closely with production steering to align customer demands with manufacturing schedules, implement improvements to streamline material flows and reduce lead times, and facilitate communication between customers, logistics, and production departments to address challenges and ensure synchronization.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate logistics systems with other factory management systems, and define requirements for IT solutions supporting the logistics processes.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential risks in material flows and logistics processes while developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics planning and execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of logistics plans, implementation schedules, and performance metrics and provide regular reports on key logistics performance indicators.
  • Implement best practices within and beyond at the PowerCo SE facility in St. Thomas and staying informed about industry trends.
