Senior UIUX Designer for a B2B SaaS company (based in Canada) full time

The Opportunity

We are looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented UIUX Designer to join our mission-driven organization. The UIUX Designer has top-notch visual design skills and will collaborate closely with the chief product designer and the development team to seamlessly integrate design concepts throughout the product life cycle. Your expertise in understanding technical constraints and finding creative solutions will be critical in delivering user interfaces and interactions that exceed expectations. If you possess a solid and hands-on experience in UI design for B2B software products, along with a proven track record of collaboration and adaptability to evolving design trends, we invite you to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact with your innovative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the chief product designer and the development team to ensure efficient design and seamless integration of design concepts and functionality into the product
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in understanding technical constraints, and finding creative solutions to design challenges.
  • Leverage proficiency in Figma as a primary design tool, demonstrating the ability to create scalable design systems that enhance overall product consistency and efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design skills and contribute innovative ideas to the design team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5 years of hands-on experience creating user interfaces for B2B software products, focusing on UI and visual design excellence.
  • Proven experience collaborating with developers to seamlessly integrate design concepts and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Showcase a compelling online design portfolio that highlights a passion for design, extensive experience, and a diverse range of projects, providing valuable insights into your design process and capabilities.
  • Highly proficient in Figma, showcasing a track record of creating detailed UI/UX designs and efficient use of its features.
  • Expertise in developing scalable design systems within Figma, ensuring consistency and efficiency in design workflows and product development.
  • Familiarity with usability testing and a commitment to a user-centered design approach, incorporating feedback to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing design trends and technologies, coupled with a proactive and innovative mindset to contribute fresh ideas to the design process.
