Calibration Engineer

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

  • Be responsible for the 4-cycle engine and/or transmission calibration projects.
  • Perform engine injection system adjustments with the aim of optimizing polluting emissions, fuel savings, performance and driving quality, while taking into account project constraints (cost, integration, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the development of powertrain group control software.
  • Coordinate and take part in optimization trials using a chassis dynamometer, track and engine dynamometer.
  • Work on diagnosing system failure modes and the effects on the vehicle.
  • Determine calibration methods to reduce development time and increase engine function robustness.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or engineer’s diploma in mechanical engineering, physics, science, thermodynamics, mechatronics, automation or robotics
  • Relevant experience in the development of internal combustion engines or mechatronic systems
  • Knowledge of engine control strategies (reduction of polluting emissions, performance, reliability, certification, etc.) would be an advantage
  • Awareness of new technologies in the field of engines and vehicles
  • Enthusiasm for motor sports and mechanics
  • Dynamic and motivated by new challenges
