We are searching for an inside sales role called Furniture Sales Specialist in our Burlington, ON location. This position is responsible for engaging with all customers and guiding them with the variety of products and services that are offered in the store. The right candidate would have developed a consultative selling style to determine the customer’s needs to make appropriate recommendations as well as create space layout plans to show the options available for the installation of the product.

This is a full-time position and comes with a competitive Base Salary plus Commissions and Health/Dental Benefits.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales

  1. Sell the entire range of Source products through a consultative approach in our vast showroom environment.
  2. Assist all customers, whether walk-in, phone -in or via email, determining their needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
  3. Create and present a proposed layout of the customer’s space reflecting the product based on specific measurements using a CAD program to provide a 2D and/or 3D visual.
  4. Provide product quotes as required.

Administrative Duties

  1. Complete all work orders, invoices, quotes, and all other necessary paperwork related to each sale.

What you will need:

  1. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  2. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  3. Can build rapport with a wide range of customers through open communication.
  4. Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  5. 2-3 years of retail experience; office furniture or an industry that requires consultative selling is an asset.
  6. Driven to close the sale; can show a proven sales track record and ability to follow up with customers by phone and email.
