Job Description

MUFG Investor Services IT team is looking for a talented Application Support Analyst who will be responsible for supporting banking applications such as Flexcube, SWIFT, our MUFG Automated Payment System, FX All and MUFG FX, in addition to integrated banking products.


You ideally have experience working with banking solutions. You will be responsible for the delivery of internal operations & support, interacting with external vendors, and be part of an internal team managing a portfolio of both in-house and vendor applications. You will play a crucial role of linking the business teams and the IT solutions group.

Reporting to the Associate Director, IT, Application Manager, You Will:

  • Be part of a global support team covering the IT Core banking applications, this includes supporting Project Managers in ongoing initiatives
  • Provide Level 2 Incident & Problem Management support by working with both vendors andinternal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during product migration and BAU,
  • Coordinate with vendor andSupport teams during Customization Deliveries, Patch sets, fixes.Interact with vendors of financial systems about technical issues and the coordination of enhancements,
  • Document IT user procedures around IT Change Management & business user procedures whilesupporting user training,
  • Participate in new platform releases, as well as testing activities to confirm system changes, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring they meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Development and enhancement of the platforms to increase automation and expand the utilization of features,
  • Internal co-ordination betweeninternal IT functions and groups to ensure quality service delivery andownership of issues to complete resolution,
  • Respond to requirement from regulators and auditors to provide appropriate support for information requests.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 5+ years in a team responsible for providing analytical, technical support and administration of business banking applications,
  • Exposure and understanding of Oracle DB, Oracle SQL, Oracle Weblogic, PL/SQL, Java, SWIFT Alliance Cloud, SWIFT MicroGateway, SWIFT MX/MT messages.
  • Advanced business process and business analysis knowledge as well as financial and business acumen skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standards,
  • Experience in creating test scripts and methodologies, as well as implementing and executing test scripts,
  • Excellent technical writing/documentation,
  • Understanding of Application & Database architecture/infrastructure setup and management.
