NOIC Academy is in need of an Engaging Biology and Chemistry Teacher for high school grades 11 and 12, dedicated to fostering scientific literacy and academic excellence in students. Inspire through innovative lessons in a supportive setting.
As a member of NOIC Academy's faculty, the teacher will create and implement dynamic curriculum-aligned lessons in Biology and Chemistry. With a focus on inquiry-based learning and hands-on laboratory experiences, the role emphasizes adaptability to diverse student learning needs and styles. Building a safe, inclusive environment is paramount for student success.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and implement curriculum-aligned lessons effectively
• Incorporate laboratory activities for hands-on learning
• Assess student progress using various evaluation methods
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom culture
• Enhance learning through technology integration
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related field
• At least 2 years of teaching experience preferred
• Valid Ontario Teacher Certification (OCT) required
• Strong grasp of science curriculum and pedagogy
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities Utilize your teaching skills to elevate students' engagement and success in biology and chemistry.
