Lead patient care initiatives as the Patient Care Manager for the Veterans Program. Oversee quality care and build strong teams in a supportive environment while ensuring optimal service delivery.
As a Patient Care Manager, you will direct the operations of the patient care unit, working closely with an interprofessional team. Your responsibilities include fostering a patient-focused environment, managing resources, and developing team leadership skills. Collaboration with the Veterans Program leadership is key to achieving meaningful goals and addressing patient care issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage overall patient care unit operations and quality
• Lead interdisciplinary team towards resident-centered care
• Develop and support staff through coaching and leadership
• Oversee budgets and resource allocations for efficiency
• Monitor and initiate quality improvement projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• Minimum 2 years in geriatric care settings
• 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare
• Strong communication and team-building skills
• Experience in a unionized healthcare environment Drive innovative patient care and team leadership to enhance the Veterans Program experience.
