Advance cellular therapy care in Oxford as a locum Consultant Haematologist, developing CAR T-cell services, diagnostics, therapeutics, and clinical trials. The appointment covers maternity leave.
Based at Churchill Hospital, this 1.0 WTE NHS consultancy supports the Oxford Clinical Haematology Department. You will work within an established multidisciplinary team serving Oxfordshire and Thames Valley patients. The post combines clinical leadership with education, service development, on-call participation, and research delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver advanced cellular therapy services
- Provide high-quality diagnostics and therapeutics
- Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, pharmacists, and allied professionals
- Expand access to innovative cellular therapy trials
- Contribute to the consultant on-call rota
Requirements:
- NHS Consultant appointment within clinical haematology
- Capacity to support CAR T-cell therapy patients
- Readiness to work across OUH Trust sites
- Interest in transplantation and cellular therapy
- Commitment to learning, improvement, and excellence
Use consultant haematology leadership to develop CAR T-cell diagnostics, therapeutics, education, and trials across Oxford’s cellular therapy service.
