Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks consultants for its specialist haematopathology team. The service covers cut ups, microscopy, diagnostic techniques, case reporting, clinical meetings, and case discussions. Candidates should support complex referral cases and quality across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform or supervise haematological histopathology cut ups
- Conduct microscopy and other diagnostic techniques
- Report cases within the specialist service
- Support clinical meetings and case discussions
- Support complex referral cases and team quality
Requirements:
- Consultant-level expertise in haematological histopathology
- Willingness to adopt modern diagnostic techniques
- Commitment to undertake necessary training
- Ability to work across OUH Trust sites
- Alternative specialty pathology support is advantageous
