Coordinate international freight with ocean, rail, trucking, and air logistics expertise while serving clients across Canada and Mexico.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager or Assistant Manager, this Logistics Coordinator or Specialist manages multimodal shipments from planning through delivery. The role supports transportation needs, documentation, compliance, and issue resolution. Experience with perishable food trucking, export requirements, and customs processes is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate ocean and multimodal shipment requirements with partners
- Manage ocean, rail, trucking, and air shipment lifecycles
- Track deliveries and resolve delays, holds, and documentation gaps
- Prepare shipping and import/export documentation for compliance
- Maintain shipment records and monthly invoice updates
Requirements:
- English and Spanish bilingual proficiency
- Experience handling perishable food trucking logistics
- Knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics systems
- Ability to build professional client and carrier relationships
