Coordinate domestic and international freight onsite in Scarborough, using transportation planning, customs documentation, and carrier coordination skills.
Trench Canada seeks a junior Logistics Specialist with 2+ years of transportation, logistics, or distribution experience. You will coordinate shipments from the Scarborough manufacturing facility, working with warehouse teams, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers. The position supports safe, compliant delivery across North America and international destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requests and coordinate outbound domestic and international shipments
- Select LTL, FTL, air, ocean, and expedited freight
- Source carriers, obtain quotations, and arrange transportation
- Prepare Bills of Lading and customs documentation
- Track shipments and resolve transportation issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years in transportation, logistics, or distribution
- Required CIFFA certificate and Dangerous Goods Certification
- Knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes, and trade agreements
- Experience with SAP, freight forwarders, and transportation carriers
- Fluent English; French fluency is preferred
