Take charge as an HSE Advisor focusing on field operations in construction. Your role will emphasize risk management and compliance alongside on-site teams.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will assess and mitigate hazards on construction sites, ensuring safety measures are implemented effectively. This role focuses on a culture of safety awareness, offering hands-on guidance during high-risk operations and emergency situations. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining safe workspaces by directly engaging with field personnel and promoting proactive safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct real-time risk assessments on construction sites
• Support high-risk task safety evaluations and recommendations
• Manage emergency responses and first aid accessibility
• Serve as a relatable safety representative in the field
• Implement ongoing site observations to identify hazards
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Health and Safety or equivalent
• 5+ years in Health and Safety, preferably in construction
• Certification like CRSP, CRST is advantageous
• Necessary CM IOSH Certification
• Bilingual in French and English seen as an asset Elevate field safety through expert risk assessments and active engagement in safety protocols across diverse construction environments.
