Become a vital part of CN’s team managing bridges and structures in BC. Your leadership will ensure the effective maintenance and safety of our rail network.
In this role as Manager of Bridges and Structures, you will be responsible for planning and executing the Capital and Operating Maintenance Program. Candidates should bring at least five years of relevant experience in bridge management and design. Collaborate closely with various engineering teams while supervising inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop dynamic maintenance plans for bridges and culverts
• Manage development and approval of maintenance drawings
• Perform field audits and assess bridge inspection accuracy
• Inspect bridges for planning capital maintenance
• Collaborate with consultants for projects and improvements
Requirements:
• At least 5 years in bridge construction or assessment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• P.
Eng Certification required
• Knowledge of railroad structures and safety protocols
• Strong analytical and project management abilities Lead bridge infrastructure at CN and ensure safe rail traffic by utilizing your engineering expertise.
