Join Haply Robotics as a Software Engineer focused on our Rust-based robotics platform. You will enhance HARP, ensuring code quality and stability in a cutting-edge environment.
In this role, you will collaborate with robotics engineers on the HARP system, which integrates haptic devices with industrial robots. Your focus will be on developing scalable and maintainable software while addressing hardware integration challenges. We seek thoughtful engineers who prioritize long-term code health through meticulous planning and communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain HARP's core Rust components
• Develop reliable connections between Haply devices and robots
• Implement communication layers for new hardware integration
• Diagnose and address hardware communication issues
• Improve software quality via testing and documentation
Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Minimum 2 years developing production software in Rust
• Strong understanding of modern Rust practices
• Experience in systems-level software design
• Comfortable with debugging networking protocols Create resilient software solutions that power advanced teleoperation and robotics systems at Haply Robotics.
