Empower your community as a Pathfinder with Native Clan Organization (NCO), helping individuals exit gang involvement through holistic support techniques. This role focuses on trauma-informed and culturally responsive methods.
You will play a pivotal role in the Nii Dootaamiin agooang (Gang Exiting) Program, collaborating with justice partners and Indigenous leaders. Your mission includes providing advocacy, case coordination, and guidance to build pathways toward successful reintegration into society. Your understanding of community dynamics will support positive emotional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate the operation of the Gang Exiting Program
• Engage community partners and service providers
• Maintain thorough case management and documentation
• Support relatives in identifying their strengths and goals
• Help reduce barriers to accessing community resources
Requirements:
• High school education; relevant experience valued
• Familiar with Indigenous healing practices and challenges
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Driver's license preferred for travel
• Enhanced Security Clearance required Bring your commitment to equity and community wellness as you support relatives on their paths to healing with NCO.
