Lead fundraising and donor relations for More Than a Roof Foundation in Vancouver, using major gifts and grant development skills daily.
This Manager supports the CEO and manages fundraising activities, donor relations, communications, and administration. The position develops and implements MTR Foundation’s fundraising, donor relations, grants, and communications plan. It serves a faith-based ministry guided by Christian faith.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with donors, churches, businesses, foundations, and communities
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward major and smaller gifts
- Develop giving programs, appeals, sponsorships, and fundraising events
- Prepare proposals, impact reports, presentations, and donor communications
- Research grants and corporate sponsorship opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong Christian faith and commitment to MTR’s mission
- Progressive fundraising experience securing philanthropic revenue
- Experience with major gifts, grants, or corporate partnerships
- University degree or equivalent in business, nonprofit management, or communications
- Knowledge of Canada Revenue Agency philanthropy regulations
