Appfire is seeking a Vice President, Product Management, Platform & Innovation to lead three connected areas central to the company's next phase of growth: the Appfire Platform, the Innovation portfolio, and Appfire's technical product relationship with Atlassian.

You will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Appfire Platform, the shared services and AI capabilities that power our products, accelerate delivery, and create leverage across the portfolio. You will also lead the Innovation team, responsible for discovering, validating, incubating, and launching the next generation of Appfire products.

As Appfire's senior product leader for the technical dimension of our Atlassian relationship, you will anticipate platform, API, Forge, and Marketplace changes; represent Appfire in technical and roadmap discussions; and translate ecosystem shifts into competitive advantage, product opportunity, and managed risk.

As a member of the Product Leadership Team, you will help shape strategy across the broader portfolio, translate company priorities into focused product bets, and build a high-performing team of product leaders. You will partner closely with Engineering, Go-to-Market, Finance, Legal, Security, and executive leadership.

Success will be measured by the adoption and business impact of platform capabilities, the quality and velocity of the innovation pipeline, and the revenue and strategic value created by new products launched through your team.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy and Portfolio Leadership

  • Partner with executive leadership to establish a compelling vision for the Appfire Platform and new-product portfolio as part of the broader company strategy.
  • Translate that vision into a clear investment thesis, product roadmap, measurable objectives, and operating plan.
  • Make disciplined decisions about where to build, buy, partner, invest, scale, or stop.
  • Maintain a clear view of progress, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs, adjusting priorities as market and business conditions change.
  • Communicate strategy, decisions, and outcomes clearly across executive, technical, and business audiences.

Platform Product Leadership

  • Treat the Appfire Platform as a product, with defined customers, value propositions, roadmaps, adoption goals, and success measures.
  • Define and deliver shared platform capabilities, including AI-enabled services that increase customer value, enable revenue growth, accelerate product delivery, and reduce duplicated effort.
  • Drive adoption across Appfire by reducing integration friction, establishing effective rollout and migration plans, and partnering closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Establish metrics for platform adoption, reliability, cost efficiency, developer experience, time to market, and business impact.
  • Build strong feedback loops with internal product teams and other platform users to ensure the roadmap addresses their highest-value needs.
  • Communicate and demonstrate the value of the platform throughout the organization.

Innovation and New Growth

  • Lead the Innovation team in identifying, validating, incubating, and launching net-new product opportunities.
  • Build and actively manage a portfolio of product bets aligned with customer needs, market opportunity, and Appfire's strategic advantages.
  • Apply a disciplined 0-to-1 approach to customer discovery, market validation, experimentation, business-case development, and commercial launch.
  • Establish clear stage gates and evidence-based criteria for advancing, changing, scaling, or stopping investments.
  • Partner with Go-to-Market leaders on positioning, pricing, packaging, launch, and early commercial traction.
  • Own the path from initial concept to measurable customer adoption and revenue.
  • Transition validated products into the appropriate scaling organization when they are ready to move beyond incubation.

Atlassian Technical Relationship

  • Serve as Appfire's senior product owner for the technical dimension of the Atlassian relationship.
  • Represent Appfire in technical, platform, and roadmap discussions with Atlassian.
