EDF Power Solutions North America seeks a Senior Counsel specializing in Procurement and Construction. This hybrid role focuses on sustainable projects across the U.
S. and Canada. In this influential position, you will lead the drafting and negotiation of vital legal documents related to renewable energy construction and procurement. Your responsibilities will include overseeing compliance with applicable laws, advising internal stakeholders, and managing external legal counsel. Your expertise will contribute significantly to successful project outcomes in the growing renewable sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Negotiate and draft engineering procurement agreements
• Review wind and solar energy project contracts
• Create and manage service and ancillary agreements
• Advise on renewable energy legal compliance
• Train internal teams on legal best practices
Requirements:
• At least 10 years of relevant legal experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB from recognized law school
• Licensed to practice in U.
S. or Canada
• Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities
