Join the esteemed NL Health Services in St. John’s, NL, as a full-time Internal Medicine Physician within the Neurology Program. This role offers an enriching blend of internal medicine and neurology expertise tailored for inpatient care.
As part of the Eastern Urban Zone, you will contribute to high-quality, multidisciplinary care at Health Sciences Centre. The successful candidate will manage inpatient medical needs, conduct daily ward rounds, and actively participate in assessments. Your collaboration with neurologists will ensure comprehensive patient management and the development of a focused practice in neurology.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage inpatient care exclusively in the Neurology Program
• Conduct daily rounds and patient assessments
• Arrange necessary investigations and family discussions
• Provide onsite coverage as required
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary neurology team
Requirements:
• Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
• Completed residency in General Internal Medicine
• Eligibility for licensure with the local regulatory body
• Internal Medicine certification or equivalent
• Any neurology experience is a significant asset This position allows you to refine your skills while significantly impacting patient care in a specialized environment.
