Draft structural and building restoration documents with AutoCAD and Revit as a Project Designer in Keller Engineering’s Ottawa office. The schedule is 37.5 hours weekly.
Keller Engineering seeks a Project Designer supporting structural and building restoration teams. You will create technical drawings, apply building codes, and write specifications. The position also provides secondary assistance with construction site reviews and design when applicable and appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD or Revit
- Develop designs from project requirements and engineering input
- Apply building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Prepare specifications and schedules for project documentation
- Verify drawings and specifications before submission
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or Building Science
- One to four years drafting or design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and design software
- Understanding of building codes and construction practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Use technical drafting, code compliance, and specification writing skills to support Keller Engineering restoration projects in Ottawa.
